Providing Optimal Care for Kitties in Need

The Sacramento Cat Hospital Foundation established its Benevolent Fund in 1990 to help homeless and feral cats who otherwise might not receive necessary medical care or treatment.

These kitties come to the Sacramento Cat Hospital from all over the Sacramento area; some require extensive and costly procedures to save their lives. Through the Benevolent Fund, our doctors and team are able to treat these sick and injured cats and ensure they receive the care they need.

Our Benevolent Fund also helps provide for our foster felines while they await their forever homes. In addition to both routine and urgent medical treatment that these kitties may require, as well as spay and neuter, the Fund assists with day-to-day needs such as food and litter. (The Fund also assists with spay and neuter costs for feral cats in our community, helping to control the feline population.)

Donations to the Benevolent Fund allow us to continue caring for these special kitties and help them find forever homes. Your one-time donation, or ongoing sponsorship, will truly make a difference for these felines.

If you'd like to hear more about the ongoing work done by the Benevolent Fund, the Sacramento Cat Hospital emails out a monthly newsletter with lots of great information for feline lovers. To sign up for our newsletter, please visit the Sacramento Cat Hospital website by clicking here.
